Duties:
County Collector collects taxes for the Mississippi County cities, schools, and improvement districts (drainage streets, etc.). This office also sends notices and turns money over to the County Treasurer; mails statements for personal and real estate taxes; collect delinquent drainage and personal taxes and issue receipts on personal taxes, and completes certificates for beer permits and collects delinquent improvement tax.
